About The Corvedale Press
The Corvedale Press is a celebration of fine press printing. We champion traditional skills within bookbinding, illustration, artisan craft and design, whilst using only the highest quality materials. The result are classic books that readers know and love, but with a stylish and luxurious design.
The Corvedale Press - behind the name
The Corvedale is the broadest valley in the Shropshire Hills and the River Corve is lined with alder. On the river you can look out for the blue flash of a kingfisher or imprint of an otter paw along the riverbank. A place of wild beauty and inspiration, it is also the family home of the Kidson family dating back to 1540.
The books are bound by a small team of skilled workers based in Ludlow. The Ludlow Bookbinders have been making leather bound books for over 35 years using skills passed through generations of bookbinders.

Fine books are for him not just a business, but a passion and reason to keep craft binding alive in England.
